Our Story
Integrated MEP is a merger between Integrated Mechanical and Electricon Engineering. Integrated Mechanical was founded by Thomas Segelhorst, P.E. in 2003. About Us
Leadership
Thomas Segelhorst, PE - Partner
Tom graduated from Colorado State University in 1991 with his BSME. He worked for a northern Colorado mechanical engineering firm until 1998, then decided to venture over to the contracting side. He created design-build mechanical drawings for Horizon Sheet Metal and did estimating until 2004, when he decided it was time for him to return to his forte, consulting mechanical engineering.
Tom held the reins from 2004 until 2017, when he passed the torch to his son Josh Miller and wife Leslie Patterson.
Larry Smith, PE - Partner
Larry Smith graduated from the University of Florida with a BSEE degree.
He started in the contracting world with Merit Electric and Neenan Archistructure, then left to start an MEP firm, SRB, with two other mechanical engineers. In 2015, he launched his solo electrical engineering firm, Electricon.
Josh Miller - Partner
Our youngest partner, was born and raised in Fort Collins. A Colorado native, Josh tried living in the south for a year but the mountains called him back. Josh started with Integrated Mechanical in 2008, and quickly became a rising star in the firm. In 2017, Josh became a partner with Integrated Mechanical, and part of the leadership team. Josh is one of the most knowledgeable and responsive mechanical design engineers in Colorado.
Leslie Patterson - Partner
Leslie started in human services, with bachelor’s degrees in Human Development and Family Studies and Political Science.
After completing a master’s degree in 2015, Leslie founded The Quarter Project, a local non-profit organization that promotes girls from marginalized populations in STEM academics and careers.
Having risen in plumbing design and administration to become CEO of Integrated Mechanical in 2017, Leslie now pursues a PhD in Equity, Education, and Transformation to influence STEM academic systems for marginalized children, all while co-managing Integrated MEP
